At the start of the match, Xavi Espart put the Blaugrana ahead in the 4th minute with a shot from the edge of the box. It didn’t take long for Lamine to make his mark on the game, and in the 19th minute, after a brilliant individual run by Raphinha, who dribbled past goalkeeper Ryan, the Spanish winger received the ball at the penalty spot and tapped it in with ease. Levante grew into the game and put Barça under pressure after going 2-0 up, although they lacked the finishing touch to reduce the deficit. Despite this pressure, at the start of the second half, Lamine put Barcelona firmly in control, scoring his second penalty after Mandi committed a very clumsy foul on the Spanish winger.
